About the Seminar

This on-line seminar provides a space for mathematics educators and teachers to learn from each other and jointly develop interests in various aspects of mathematics education.

We hope that the seminar will become a place where cooperation between researchers begins, resulting in joint papers and international projects.

What direction our meetings will develop into depends primarily on the participants, who are invited to be actively involved in the creation of the SoME space.

SoME meetings will include lectures given by invited guests but the seminar participants are encouraged to submit their own proposals as well (via 'Submit proposal’ button on the home page).

In the academic year 2023-2024 the meetings will be held on announced Wednesdays, from 6 pm to 7:30 pm (time in Poland). In exceptional situations, if this time would make it impossible for the invited guest to give a lecture, the time of the meeting may be slightly changed.

We plan to record the lectures and we will be posting them on the Yt channel of the Department of Mathematics of the Pedagogical University of Krakow.
